The historic town of Kalbar is situated in the fertile Fassifern Valley with magnificent views of the Scenic Rim.

Kalbar has a rich German history dating back to 1876, which is reflected in many historic sites and buildings around the town. Kalbar is the secondary commercial and service centre for the Boonah Shire.

The Scenic Rim is a spectacular arc of rainforest clad mountains extending east of Kalbar to the southern border ranges.

From Brisbane travel south-west along Ipswich Road/Ipswich Motorway to Dinmore. Take the Cunningham Highway Exit on the left-hand side, and follow signs towards Warwick. Take the Kalbar Exit (on the left hand side) and follow the signs into the Township of Kalbar.

Follow the main street (George Street) straight through town heading south towards Mt French. We are on the right, approximately one kilometre from the Post Office and just out of town.
